Frisco ISD Divers Continue to Improve, Break School Records

Divers from all FISD high schools competed against area divers in the FISD invitational meet on November 1st. This 11-dive meet lasted almost 4 hours, but the divers didn't tire easily.

Five divers set personal best records: Caleb Solis from Heritage 212.30, Tristan Negrete of Memorial 235.40, Fallon Stevens from Memorial 228.65, Julia Anderson of Lebanon Trail 249.80 as well as Katie Grenier from Lebanon Trail 253.65 and Eva Brinkman from Wakeland 350.65. The divers are on a roll as we approach the midpoint in the season. They are learning new dives and improving on old ones.

In addition to the personal best records, the divers are breaking and setting new school records. New school record for Memorial set by freshman Tristan Negrete with a score of 235.40. New school record for Lebanon Trail set by freshman Katie Grenier 253.65 and a new school record for Wakeland set by junior Eva Brinkman with a score of 350.65.

Divers from Centennial, Memorial, Independence, Liberty and Lebanon Trail competed in a six-dive meet on November 8th at the Bruce Eubanks Natatorium. Harrison Kaster of Centennial placed first with a score of 196.50. On the girls side, Peyton Guziec placed first with a score of 198.40, which also set a new 6-dive school record at Memorial HS.
